How OpeRev uses cookies

OpeRev uses cookies to operate the website and application, remember your preferences, understand how visitors use the product, and maintain security. The specific cookies in use are described below.

These cookies are required for the website and application to function. They enable core features such as authentication, session management, security tokens, and application state. You cannot opt out of strictly necessary cookies without affecting core functionality.

Analytics and performance cookies

OpeRev may use analytics tools to understand how visitors interact with the website and application — for example, which pages are visited most, where users encounter friction, and how features are used. Analytics data is used in aggregate to improve the product.

OpeRev uses Google Analytics 4 on the public website. Google Analytics 4 sets the _ga cookie to distinguish visitors and the _ga_<container-id> cookie to maintain session state. Both cookies typically expire after two years.

OpeRev also uses a first-party visitor-intelligence pixel on the public website. The pixel collects the page URL, referring page, a randomly generated session identifier stored for the browser-tab session, UTM campaign parameters, and device category. OpeRev uses this information for company-level visitor identification, attribution, and website performance analysis.

Marketing and advertising cookies

OpeRev does not currently deploy marketing or advertising cookies on the public website or application. If marketing cookies are introduced, this policy will be updated and a consent mechanism will be implemented before those cookies are set.

Third-party cookies

Some OpeRev features or integrations may cause third-party cookies to be set by external services such as embedded tools, payment processors, or video providers. Third-party cookies are governed by those parties' own privacy and cookie policies. Cookie audit status

A full cookie audit across www.operev.com and app.operev.com is planned before OpeRev runs paid advertising campaigns or targets users in jurisdictions with strict cookie consent requirements (including the EU, UK, and similar). This policy will be updated with audit results before that milestone.

Before OpeRev targets users in a jurisdiction that requires prior consent, it will implement an appropriate consent mechanism.

Changes to this policy

OpeRev will update this Cookie Policy when analytics, monitoring, or advertising technologies change, and after the full cookie audit is complete. The current version will always be available at www.operev.com/cookies.
